Reasons to play Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport and allows you to work as a team. Players depend on one another to score points and win games. In other words volleyball and the word “team” is synonymous. Team work is paramount in volleyball. The mindset of team work applies to each and everyday of our lives, so volleyball teachs you to work with others in order to achieve desired goals.

Playing a sport under the blistering sun or freezing cold can be tiresome and gruelling. Volleyball is usually played in indoor facilities with climate control, making it a more predictable and consistent experience. No need to bring both a jacket and a bathing suit to a volleyball facility!

Never ends in a tie

Having a game end in a tie can be frustrating to both the fans and players. Luckily this is not the case with volleyball, at least one score is scored every minute and also an average volleyball match lasts for an hour, with plenty of scored points to celebrate.

Less Running

Though training requires a lot of cardio exercises which involves running, the game itself does not involve a lot of running it involves a multitude of fast paced, dynamic movements including jumping, diving, and shuffling which is great for your cardio and wellbeing.  The main focus of the game is to develop fast, explosive movements versus long distance running.

Beach Volleyball

There is no better way than to enjoy your sun whilst watching or playing a beach volleyball match. Sand volleyball or beach volleyball is currently the fastest growing sport. Indoor and beach volleyball are quite different sports but some of the indoor volleyball skills are transferred to beach volleyball.
